Stories from the Basement
Stories from The Basement began as a live show in a New York City Basement in 2020.  As the pandemic shifted our lives it became a zoom-verse of community during difficult times.  In both iterations it serves as a platform for profound storytelling, a space for artists to hash out new works and old journeys in front of an inviting audience. 

The stage is in Harlem, NYC with musical curations by the renowned hustle DJ, DJ ToneLuva and with host/curator Lauren Cox and team. It is a chance for three professionals to share their unique experience through the medium of storytelling, dance or song. Online, participants engage with interactive audience polls, chat prompts and moments of highlighted audience joy!  The live show is followed by a mix and mingle for diverse connections across industry professionals.
